Hands raised in worship at a Saturday night service

Outreach & Evangelism · Saturdays

Hope, encouragement, and practical support.

Every Saturday night we serve meals, clothing, and hygiene items, and most importantly, offer the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyone is welcome.

Every Saturday

Where and when we meet.

Every Saturday night, Freeway Ministries gathers with men and women in need throughout the Orlando community to provide hope, encouragement, and practical support. Through our weekly outreach, we serve those who are experiencing homelessness, addiction, and difficult seasons of life by providing meals, clothing, hygiene items, and most importantly, the opportunity to hear the Gospel.

This weekly ministry is more than meeting physical needs. It is about building relationships and showing people the love of Christ through consistent presence and genuine care. Many of the relationships formed on Saturday nights become opportunities for continued encouragement, discipleship, and connection to a local church community.

Through faithful service and a willingness to meet people where they are, we strive to be a source of hope and a reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace.

  • Like-minded people

The Bible says, “there is none good, no not one” (Romans 3:10). There’s an understanding at Freeway that we are all broken, and we are all seeking the One who can heal our brokenness.

  • A place of acceptance

There’s a misconception of what “church people” should look like. Almost everyone walking into Freeway will see someone who looks like them.

  • Sharing of struggles

Freeway attenders are the homeless, the addicted, the struggling single parent, families, professionals, attorneys, and pastors, all coming together to bridge the gap from the unchurched to the local church.

  • Real community

Many who come to Freeway left friends and family behind when they walked away from their old lifestyle. Freeway fills that void: we share meals, spend holidays together, study the Bible, and hold each other accountable. It’s more than a building. It’s a community.

Questions

First time?

Do I need to sign up or bring anything?
No. Just come. The clothing store, the meal, and the service are all free, and everyone is welcome.
What if I don’t have transportation?
Ride with us. Be in the parking lot of 421 E. Robinson St., Orlando, FL 32801, by 3:30 PM on Saturday and we’ll bring you to Freeway.
Is Freeway a church?
Freeway isn’t a local church. We help point the lost and hurting to churches in the community, and at the close of every outreach everyone is invited to get plugged in at Orlando Baptist Church.
Is there childcare?
Yes. Our weekly outreaches provide childcare so parents can be fully present for the meal and the service.
Can I donate clothes?
Yes. We accept in-season clothing Tuesdays 10–2 and Saturdays 4–5:30 at the glass doors at the back of the building. See what we accept.
